Competitive market salary About the role We are a new residential plumbing company launching in Orange County, built by two operators with backgrounds in real estate, systems, and service operations. We are hiring a licensed C-36 plumber to serve two roles: Responsible Managing Employee (RME) on our contractor license, and our founding field technician who sets the workmanship standard every future hire is trained against. This is a legitimate, full-time, hands-on position. We are not looking for a paper qualifier. You will be in the field, running residential service and repair work, while carrying license responsibility for a company built to grow with you in it. What you will do Serve as RME on the company's C-36 license (bona fide W2 employment, full-time schedule, in compliance with CSLB requirements) Run residential service, repair, and replacement work: drain, water, gas, fixtures, water heaters, repipes Set and document field standards: workmanship, code compliance, job photos, and closeout quality that become company training material Help shape diagnostic and installation procedures as we build our operations playbook Mentor technicians as the team grows, with a path to lead or supervisory roles What you bring Active California C-36 Plumbing Contractor license in good standing, eligible to serve as RME (not currently qualifying another active license) 5+ years of residential service plumbing experience Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check Strong communication with homeowners; comfortable explaining options and pricing in the home
