$20•28 per hour About Us Orlando City Plumbing LLC is a Florida State Certified Plumbing Contractor serving the Orlando area. We're growing our repipe division and looking for a skilled, reliable Repipe Technician to join our team. Job Summary We're hiring an experienced Repipe Technician to perform whole-home and partial repipe installations for residential customers. You'll work independently or as part of a crew to remove old, failing pipe systems (galvanized, polybutylene, copper) and install new PEX or copper systems with minimal disruption to the customer's home. Responsibilities Perform complete and partial home repipes in Uponor PEX-A Cut, fit, and install piping through walls, attics, and crawl spaces with minimal damage Coordinate wall/ceiling access points with drywall crews Pressure test all completed lines and verify no leaks before close-up Set fixtures, valves, and water heaters as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site Communicate professionally and courteously with homeowners on-site Accurately complete job paperwork, material lists, and time tracking Follow all local plumbing codes and safety regulations Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on repipe or residential plumbing experience (required) Working knowledge of PEX and copper piping systems and installation methods Familiarity with Florida plumbing code Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work in tight attic, crawl space, and wall-cavity conditions Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-facing attitude Plumbing license or apprenticeship experience a plus, not required Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics/crawl spaces in Florida heat Frequent kneeling, bending, and overhead work
