Overview Join our dynamic team as a Journeyman Plumber and take pride in delivering top-tier plumbing solutions across new construction commercial, residential, and mutifamily projects. As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for installing plumbing systems in accordance with local building codes and safety regulations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, interpret blueprints and schematics, and utilize your mechanical knowledge to ensure efficient and reliable plumbing operations. Your expertise will directly contribute to building safe, functional, and high-quality plumbing systems that meet client expectations. Responsibilities Install plumbing systems from groundworks to trim in new construction locations. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise installations. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively to complete projects. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, and safety regulations while adhering to project timelines. Collaborate with construction teams, contractors, and clients to deliver quality workmanship while providing excellent customer service. Assist with heavy machinery such as excavators and skidloaders as needed on jobsites. Skills Extensive construction experience with a strong understanding of construction site protocols. Knowledge of plumbing building codes, local regulations, and safety standards essential for compliance. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and mechanical diagrams accurately. Skilled in using hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, soldering equipment as well as power tools for installation tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients during field service activities.
