Plumber (pay is based on experience) $30-40/Hour + Commission | Company Vehicle | Chicagoland (Central)Field-Based Position | Monthly Meetings in Naperville, IL Are you a licensed Journeyman Plumber who takes pride in quality work and enjoys solving problems for customers? We're looking for an experienced plumbing professional to join our growing team serving homeowners throughout the Central Chicagoland area. What You'll Do As a Licensed Journeyman Plumber, you'll perform a variety of residential plumbing service, repair, and installation work while ensuring every customer receives outstanding service.

Responsibilities Include:

Diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems Perform emergency plumbing repairs quickly and efficiently Install, repair, and replace: Water heaters Sump pumps and sewage ejector pumps Toilets Faucets Sinks Bathtubs Water supply lines Drain lines Natural gas piping Radiator valves and traps Perform minor steam line repairs and rerouting Maintain and repair storm and sewer piping Test new and existing gas piping for leaks Read and interpret plumbing and mechanical drawings Order materials and supplies as needed Assist in training and mentoring plumbing apprentices Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts Manage your daily schedule efficiently to maximize productivity Deliver exceptional customer service on every job Follow all company safety policies and industry regulations What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications ✔ Active Illinois Journeyman Plumber License ✔ Minimum 5 years of Journeyman plumbing experience ✔ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record ✔ Experience with brazing and soldering ✔ Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills ✔ Excellent communication and customer service abilities ✔ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision ✔ Strong organizational and time management skills ✔ Ability to safely lift equipment and work in various residential environments Preferred Qualities We're looking for someone who: Takes pride in doing the job right the first time Is dependable and punctual Enjoys helping customers solve problems Can think independently and make sound decisions in the field Is willing to continue learning as new products and technologies evolve Works safely every day Compensation & Benefits Pay $40.00 per hour Commission opportunities on equipment sales Overtime opportunities available Additional Benefits Company vehicle provided Field-based position with independence throughout your workday Monthly team meetings at our Naperville headquarters Ongoing training and continuing education Stable, year-round work Opportunities for career growth Work Location This is a field-based position servicing residential customers throughout the Central Chicagoland area , with monthly meetings at our Naperville headquarters .
