$34.00-$45.00/hour, DOE About Our Client Our client is a family-owned and operated general contractor established in 1977, specializing in a wide variety of residential and light commercial construction projects. They offer a collaborative, family-oriented environment focused on quality workmanship, continued growth, and building a strong team. Job Summary We are seeking a licensed Journeyman Plumber to support residential and light commercial plumbing projects while contributing to a growing plumbing team. This position is primarily residential and is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, values teamwork, and is interested in continued professional growth and leadership opportunities. The Journeyman Plumber will work closely with the Master Plumber and construction teams to plan, execute, and complete plumbing projects while maintaining the company's standards for safety, quality, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and light commercial settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to determine plumbing layouts Perform plumbing work in accordance with applicable local codes, regulations, and safety requirements Utilize hand and power tools for pipe installation, threading, and other plumbing work as needed Perform routine inspections and efficiently troubleshoot plumbing issues Collaborate with construction teams to support timely and successful project completion Communicate project progress and job updates to Construction Project Managers and administrative teams Maintain high standards of workmanship and professionalism on jobsites Follow proper safety procedures and correctly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) Support the Master Plumber and contribute to improvements in team processes and operations Qualifications Active Minnesota Journeyman Plumber License required Current knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems Experience installing, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting plumbing systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Demonstrated knowledge of the proper and safe use of plumbing tools, equipment, and PPE Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license with the ability to meet company driving requirements Ability to successfully complete required criminal and motor vehicle background screening Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 50 pounds Ability to safely work from ladders and perform hands-on plumbing duties in residential and commercial environments Working Conditions Primarily residential construction environments with some light commercial projects Regular travel to project and jobsite locations Frequent use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and plumbing equipment Work may take place indoors and outdoors depending on the project Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment and adherence to jobsite safety procedures Benefits Competitive pay of $34.00-$45.00/hour, depending on qualifications Company vehicle Full-time Monday-Friday schedule Opportunity to influence processes and contribute to the growth of the plumbing team alongside the Master Plumber Paid holidays and personal time off Medical, dental, life, and disability benefits 401(k) with company contribution Family-oriented company culture Continuing education assistance and pay #IND1
