A Plumber installs and repairs water pipes, including drainage pipes, in homes or larger buildings. Installs plumbing fixtures or appliances that use gas, and fixes plumbing problems such as clogged pipes.
The City of Saint Paul Department of Safety and Inspections is hiring an individual to perform full performance inspections work to ensure that plumbing and drainage alterations, and installations are consistent with approved plans and specifications, in accordance with the requirements of the Minnesota Plumbing Code, the Minnesota State Building Code, and Saint Paul Regional Water Service Codes. Here's what you can expect to do: Inspect and report on installations and alterations of plumbing work to assure that approved materials are used, and proper workmanship is performed.
