About us Up&Up owns and manages single-family rental homes in the St. Louis area, Kansas City, Atlanta, and Indianapolis. When a resident has no hot water on a Sunday, we are the ones who answer. We are hiring an in-house service plumber in St. Louis. The role You'll run plumbing service calls across our St. Louis homes — stoppages, leaks, fixtures, no-hot-water, disposals, supply lines. Real repair work on real houses, most of them older, many of them with something interesting behind the wall. Between calls you'll handle the other things that break in a rental: a thermostat, a dead outlet cover, a punch item on a home being turned. You are not on a truck selling repipes. What you'll do Clear stoppages and run drain work — kitchen, lav, tub, main line.

Repair and replace fixtures:

faucets, toilets, angle stops, supply lines, P-traps, disposals. Find and fix accessible leaks before they become a ceiling. Diagnose and repair no-hot-water and call the repair-or-replace decision honestly Pick up routine HVAC and appliance work between plumbing calls — filters, thermostats, simple diagnostics. Knock out punch items on homes being turned so a home isn't waiting on a vendor trip. Carry the after-hours phone on a paid rotation. Water damage is the reason we want somebody in-house. Log every call, photo, part and hour in our app What we're looking for 5+ years of residential plumbing service and repair. Older housing stock experience matters here — cast iron, galvanized, and whatever the last guy did in 1982. A St. Louis County or City journeyman card, or the hours toward one, is a strong plus — we will pay the exam fees and document your hours. Comfortable being handy beyond plumbing — basic HVAC and general repairs. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Able to lift 50 lbs, work in crawlspaces and basements, and work a 5-day week plus paid on-call rotation.
