Overview We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in plumbing and construction. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and learning essential skills in plumbing, construction, and maintenance. Duties Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete plumbing tasks efficiently. Read blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts and specifications. Participate in construction projects, including remodeling and new installations. Perform pipe threading and assembly tasks as required. Provide field service support, addressing plumbing issues on-site for clients. Collaborate with team members on various construction tasks, including carpentry and HVAC installations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Basic knowledge of plumbing principles and practices is preferred. Experience in construction or maintenance person work is a plus. Familiarity with welding techniques is advantageous but not mandatory. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment related to plumbing tasks. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge with basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Previous experience on construction sites is beneficial for understanding workflow dynamics. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment while following instructions from senior plumbers.
