Job Description

EnviroControl Systems is a family-owned comfort solutions business that has been proudly serving Dayton and the surrounding communities for over 22 years! As a Lead Commercial Plumber, you will: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to layout plumbing systems Perform underground plumbing installation including rough-ins and site preparation Complete remodel and retrofit work, modifying existing systems as needed Assist with or perform underground takeoffs for project planning Install water lines, waste and vent piping, and gas piping (where applicable) in compliance with code Work with piping materials including copper, PEX, PVC, cast iron, and black iron Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping using proper tools and techniques Set fixtures and trim with attention to quality, detail, and deadlines Coordinate with foreman, project managers, and other trades to maintain workflow Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite in accordance with OSHA and company standards Mentor apprentices and contribute to a team-oriented environment Qualifications Experience in commercial plumbing installation and undergrounds Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings is preferred Experience with underground plumbing and remodel work Familiarity with common plumbing materials and installation methods (copper, PEX, PVC, cast iron, black iron etc.) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain OSHA compliance Ability to lift/carry 70+- lbs., work on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces; tolerate extreme seasonal heat/cold Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and short-term disability 401(k) with company match PTO Uniform allowance, PPE provided, and boot/tool account At our core, we're a team that values hard work, accountability, and looking out for each other.
