Job Description

Seeking individuals with experience in commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and remodels. Applicants must be self-starters, have a great attitude, and be able to work well with others. Projects will require layout and installation of cast iron, PVC, and ABS sewer, vent, and roof drain piping. Layout and installation of copper, CPVC, and Pex water distribution piping. Threading, layout, and installation of steel gas piping. Assembly, installation, and start-up of various plumbing fixtures, equipment, and components. Key Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, fixtures, and related equipment for water, gas, drainage, waste, and vent systems in commercial buildings. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements. Cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools or specialized equipment. Install and connect fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, chillers, and pumps. Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper operation using air, water, and pressure gauges. Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company policies. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate work on job sites. Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues, recommending appropriate repair or replacement solutions. Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order. Train and mentor apprentices and assist in their skill development. Complete required documentation such as work orders, material lists, and time reports.
