Contract / Temporary (3-4 Weeks Immediate Work with Potential for Ongoing On-Call Projects) About the Position Gun Barrel Plumbing is seeking an experienced Plumbing Hand / Tradesman for immediate contract work. We have an active 2-3 week multi-unit residential/commercial project (water heater installs, shower rebuilds, fixture trim-outs) alongside ongoing commercial and service backlog. This is a 1099 contract position ideal for an experienced apprentice, journeyman, or skilled hand looking for steady 40-hour weeks over the next month, with the opportunity for recurring project-based work down the road. Key Responsibilities Assist with multi-unit water heater swap-outs, shower rebuild kits, waste & overflows, and sink installations. Assist with commercial underground, rough-in, and trim work. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site. Perform heavy lifting, pipe fitting, and general labor associated with commercial/residential plumbing.
Requirements Experience:
Minimum [1-2 years] of hands-on commercial or residential plumbing experience required.
Tools:
Basic hand tools required (specialty tools provided).
Transportation:
Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the local area.
Tax Status:
Must be comfortable operating as an independent contractor (1099) and provide a completed W-9.
