Responsibilities Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Diagnose plumbing issues accurately and provide effective solutions in a timely manner. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing specifications. Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations. Collaborate with homeowners to explain repairs or installations and provide professional recommendations. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Manage work orders, document service activities, and report on job progress as required. Keep tools and equipment well-maintained to ensure optimal performance. Requirements Valid license as a plumber with appropriate certifications for residential plumbing work. Proven experience in residential plumbing installation and repair. Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety standards, and best practices. Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints related to residential plumbing systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces. Reliable transportation to travel between job sites as needed.
