Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing projects meet all safety standards, building codes, and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize your technical skills, and contribute to high-quality construction and service delivery. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with local building codes and project plans. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute plumbing layouts. Perform pipe threading, pipe installation, welding, and assembly of plumbing components using hand tools and power tools. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with construction teams, HVAC technicians, carpenters, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution. Adhere to safety regulations by following proper procedures for heavy lifting, working at heights, gas piping systems, and handling hazardous materials. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to plumbing system failures or inefficiencies on construction sites or during field service operations. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a strong background in residential and commercial plumbing projects. Valid journeyman plumber license or equivalent certification demonstrating mastery of plumbing skills. Experience with welding, pipe threading, gas piping systems, and reading schematics is highly desirable. Familiarity with plumbing building codes, local regulations, and safety standards is essential. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently. Knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical principles, remodeling techniques, and maintenance practices enhances your versatility. Excellent customer service skills for interacting professionally with clients during service calls or project installations. Strong problem-solving skills combined with basic math proficiency for precise measurements and calculations. Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
