ABOUT THE JOB

Pump Installation Helper to install, service, troubleshoot, and repair water pumps and related equipment. Role involves working at residential, commercial, industrial, and construction sites to ensure pumping systems are operating safely and efficiently. This is a field-based position with frequent travel between job sites and occasional overtime, weekend, and emergency service work, riding out with the driver.

JOB DUTIES

Install, service, and replace water pumps, booster pumps, pressure tanks, and related equipment. Assemble and connect piping, fittings, valves, and pumping components. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues affecting pump performance. Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on pumping systems. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Operate tools, equipment, hoists, and lifting devices safely. Conduct system testing to ensure proper operation and performance. Complete service reports, installation documentation, and work orders. Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulations. Communicate professionally with customers and team members. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition.

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Comfortable bending, kneeling, climbing Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience installing, servicing, or repairing pumping systems. Basic knowledge of electrical systems, motors, and controls. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
