Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gutter Installer to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of gutter systems on residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction experience, excellent attention to safety protocols, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics. Duties Measure and assess building structures to determine appropriate gutter system specifications. Install a variety of gutter types, including metal roofing gutters, ensuring proper alignment and secure attachment. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble gutter components. Follow construction plans, blueprints, and schematics accurately to ensure precise installation. Perform roofing repair and siding installation as needed to support gutter system integration. Adhere strictly to construction safety regulations, including the use of safety harnesses and ladder safety procedures. Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation processes. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments or repairs. Coordinate with team members on site to ensure project timelines are met efficiently. Maintain a clean work environment by managing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Skills Extensive construction experience with a focus on roofing, siding, and exterior building systems. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints related to gutter systems. Knowledge of construction estimating processes for project planning and resource allocation. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment specific to roofing and siding installation. Familiarity with metal stud framing, masonry, plumbing, welding, tile laying, stucco, concrete forming, restoration, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, caulking techniques, and handyman skills is advantageous. Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations including the proper use of safety harnesses and ladder safety practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with outdoor work experience preferred. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Ability to read construction plans thoroughly and apply knowledge accurately during installation.
