Scaffold Builder FalconTek - 3.5 Laurel, MD Job Details Full-time $22 - $30 an hour 3 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications Carpentry Teamwork Outdoor work experience OSHA 10 Hand tools Full Job Description Scaffold Builder / Scaffold Erector About the Role We are hiring Scaffold Builders to support commercial construction projects throughout the area. This role is responsible for assembling, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding systems on active job sites while following all safety procedures and site requirements. This is a hands-on field position that requires strong attendance, physical ability, comfort working outdoors, and the ability to work safely at heights. Candidates with previous scaffold experience are preferred, but we are also open to construction workers, laborers, carpenters, riggers, or mechanically inclined candidates who have experience working on commercial job sites. Responsibilities Build, modify, and dismantle scaffold systems on commercial construction sites Carry, stage, and organize scaffold materials, frames, planks, braces, pins, and related components Assist with loading and unloading trucks at job sites Follow direction from foremen, lead scaffold builders, and site supervisors Inspect scaffold components for damage or safety concerns before use Work safely at heights and follow all fall protection and job site safety procedures Maintain clean and organized work areas Use hand tools and basic construction tools as needed Communicate clearly with team members to complete builds safely and efficiently Follow OSHA, company, and customer site safety requirements Qualifications Previous scaffold building, commercial construction, industrial construction, carpentry, rigging, or general labor experience preferred Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in different weather conditions Able to lift, carry, and move heavy materials throughout the workday Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a crew Strong focus on safety and reliability Experience using hand tools and working on active construction sites OSHA 10, scaffold training, fall protection training, or aerial lift experience is a plus Reliable transportation to job sites or company meeting location Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has experience working on commercial construction sites and understands the importance of safety, teamwork, and reliability. They do not need to be a master scaffold builder, but they should be physically capable, comfortable with heights, willing to work outdoors, and able to learn scaffold systems quickly. Schedule Full-time, field-based position. Schedule may vary depending on job site needs.
Pay:
$22.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per weekBenefits:
