Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Timber Frame Construction Specialist and bring innovative, sustainable, and beautifully crafted timber structures to life! In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, assembling, and erecting high-quality timber frames for a variety of residential, commercial, and custom projects. Your expertise will help shape inspiring spaces while ensuring safety, precision, and efficiency on every site. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled construction professionals passionate about timber craftsmanship and sustainable building practices. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute timber framing projects. Erect timber frameworks using a variety of hand tools and power tools, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to safety standards. Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate the sequence of construction activities on-site. Perform metal building erection tasks when required, integrating steel components with timber structures seamlessly. Install rebar and prepare concrete forms for foundations or structural supports as part of the framing process. Conduct masonry work, including laying bricks or blocks when necessary for project specifications. Operate heavy equipment such as cranes or forklifts to lift and position large timber components safely. Manage onsite tasks including roofing, siding, plastering, stucco application, and trim carpentry to complete finished structures. Read technical schematics accurately to ensure precise measurements and cuts for framing components. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements Proven experience in timber frame construction or related fields such as carpentry, framing, or heavy construction projects. Strong knowledge of metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing techniques. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence. Familiarity with masonry work including siding, stucco application, roofing, and restoration projects is preferred. Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights; comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills. Knowledge of construction management principles to coordinate tasks efficiently across different trades. Valid certifications in forklift operation or heavy equipment operation are advantageous but not mandatory. Join us in building exceptional timber structures that stand the test of time!
