Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Gutter Technician to oversee and execute gutter installation, maintenance, and repair projects with precision and efficiency. Duties Lead and supervise gutter installation, repair, cleaning, and maintenance projects on residential and commercial properties. Coordinate project schedules, assign tasks to team members, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion. Conduct thorough inspections of gutter systems, including downspouts, fascia, soffits, and related components, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment safely to perform various construction tasks associated with gutter systems. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to communicate project updates and resolve any issues promptly. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, safety incidents, and project milestones for reporting purposes. Requirements Proven experience in construction management or as a lead technician within the roofing or exterior building trades. Strong knowledge of gutter systems installation, repair techniques, and related construction disciplines such as roofing, siding, or masonry. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating tools like Bluebeam is highly desirable. Demonstrated proficiency in using hand tools (caulking guns, trim carpentry tools), power tools (drills, saws), and heavy equipment operation relevant to construction sites. Knowledge of safety protocols related to working at heights, scaffolding setup, fall protection measures, and OSHA standards. Ability to read technical drawings including electrical schematics or plumbing diagrams as needed for integrated exterior systems. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Physical stamina for working outdoors in varying weather conditions; capable of lifting heavy materials safely. Additional skills such as construction inspection experience or experience with fabrication processes are a plus.
