Responsibilities Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to accurately fabricate sheet metal parts. Operate and set up various machinery including press brake machines, CNC laser cutters, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, plasma cutters, stamping presses, and forming machines to produce precise components. Use precision measuring instruments and tools for quality inspection and measurement to guarantee parts meet strict specifications. Conduct machine setup, tooling adjustments, and calibration to maintain optimal performance and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety standards in production environments. Requirements Proven experience operating sheet metal fabrication machinery such as press brakes, CNC laser cutters, plasma cutters, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and forming equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Skilled in using measuring instruments for quality control and precision measurement in machining processes. Ability to operate hand tools, tooling setups, and machining tools safely and efficiently. Knowledge of shop math, basic math skills necessary for machining calculations, and understanding of safety standards in manufacturing environments.
