Job Summary

Aircraft Structures Mechanic (Sheet Metal / Structures Assembly)

We are seeking experienced aviation structures professionals to join a growing MRO team in South Florida. This role supports structural assembly, sheet metal repair, fabrication, and modification work on aircraft within a high-performance maintenance and production environment.   Key Responsibilities
  
• Perform sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installation, and structural repairs
  
• Work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation
  
• Support aircraft modification, repair, and structural build-up activities
  
• Drill, rivet, form, and fit structural components to specification
  
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and internal quality standards
  
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work
  
• Collaborate with team members to meet production and turnaround goals
  
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  Qualifications
  
• Minimum 3+ years of aircraft structures, sheet metal, or OEM assembly experience required
  
• Strong background in aircraft assembly or production environments preferred
  
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
  
• Experience with aircraft structural repair techniques (riveting, drilling, fastening, fitting)
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces as needed
  Preferred Qualifications
  
• Experience in OEM or MRO aircraft manufacturing environments strongly preferred
  
• Prior experience on commercial or business aircraft platforms (Airbus, Boeing, regional aircraft, etc.)
  
• Completion of formal aircraft structures or sheet metal training programs
  
• Familiarity with production line or high-volume assembly environments
