Job Description:

Cheney Flashing is a sheet metal and anchor fabrication business with a specialty in commercial construction products including building envelope waterproofing, masonry anchors and roofing. Cheney is a wholly owned subsidiary of US Masonry and Building Products that prides itself in taking care of its employees. We are seeking to fill a role for a full-time Sheet Metal Fabricator in our Beltsville, MD facility. Duties include, but are not limited to: fabrication of complex thin gauge sheet metal corners, end dams, scuppers, gutters and various profile designs program and operate CNC Sheet Metal Folders, Press Brake, Shears, Band Saws, Iron Workers, Soldering Irons, Various Shop Tools shearing and fabricating orders, maintaining orderly shop working environment operating forklift loading customer orders unloading delivery vehicles as needed The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following: ability to interact with a variety of personnel and communicate effectively strong attention to detail strategic mindset with a focus on efficiency understanding of basic mathematical concepts
