Job Description
Cheney Flashing is a sheet metal fabrication business with a specialty in non-residential construction products including building envelope waterproofing, masonry anchors and roofing. We are seeking a motivated and capable welding professional to join our growing welding team. The ideal candidate will be able to step into our welding department but will also be willing and able to learn and work with a variety of different machines and tools. We are looking for candidates who wish to grow with an enthusiastic and hard-working group of people. Duties include but not limited to: TIG/MIG Welding light gauge sheet metal (stainless steel, aluminum, copper, carbon steel, galvanized) Spot welding Soldering Operating assorted grinders and belt sanders Operating plasma cutter Operating sheet metal folders Operating sheet metal sheer Operating forklift and other heavy-duty machinery Cleaning of factory workspaces Preparing customer orders for freight shipment Other duties as assigned
