Responsibilities:

Part Fabrication:

Shear, punch, press brake, and fabricate custom sheet metal parts for HVAC equipment casings following established quality standards.

Blueprint Precision:

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, dimensions, and strict tolerances to complete custom builds.

Setup & Tooling:

Safely set up machinery, tooling, and work stations for optimal efficiency.

Quality & Measurement:

Accurately measure work using angle gauges, tape measures, and vernier calipers; perform shop math (decimals/fractions) to ensure precise specifications.

Operational Excellence:

Log work activities, maintain equipment, keep a safe work space, and collaborate with team members and supervisors on process improvements.

Working hours:

PM Skills:

High school graduate or equivalent is preferred. Shop courses or equivalent experience is helpful. Experience fabricating sheet metal parts using fabrication tools and equipment is desirable.

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

One year work experience including use of small hand tools in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Good mechanical ability to read blueprints and drawings in order to fabricate parts. Knowledge of how to use mechanical tools, wrenches, levels, and light power tools properly and safely. Skill in accurately using measuring tools including angle gauges, tape measures, and vernier calipers. Able to perform mathematical calculations involving addition and subtraction of dimensions using decimals and/or fractions. Able to routinely lift 80 pounds Apply today!
