We are currently looking for an experienced Solar Electrical Service Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for a licensed electrician with strong residential electrical experience and hands-on knowledge of solar systems. Position Overview Working under the direction of a Master Electrician, you will be responsible for evaluating electrical systems, identifying issues, completing repairs, and supporting solar-related electrical projects. The right candidate should be comfortable troubleshooting residential electrical problems, reviewing system layouts and schematics, and working with solar equipment, electrical panels, and related components. This role also requires the ability to communicate effectively with homeowners and provide accurate estimates or quotes for residential electrical work. Responsibilities Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting to identify system problems. Repair and replace electrical components as needed. Assist with and complete electrical work related to solar installations. Perform electrical panel replacements and upgrades. Review electrical drawings, schematics, diagrams, and blueprints. Evaluate residential electrical projects and prepare customer quotes. Follow National Electrical Code requirements and company safety standards. Use all required personal protective equipment and follow established jobsite safety procedures. Communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and supervisors. Qualifications Current Journeyman Electrician certification or applicable specialty electrical license required. Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code. Previous residential electrical experience required. Experience with solar installations, solar equipment, and electrical panel swaps required. Experience preparing residential electrical estimates or quotes. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
