3003320457-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Lamar Advertising Company is seeking a Billboard Construction professional to build, install, and maintain outdoor advertising structures in the field. In this hands-on role, you will assemble and service static and digital billboards, working at heights with lifts, trucks, and power tools. You'll read plans, measure and lay out structures, install hardware and lighting, and perform repairs, all while following strict safety and OSHA standards. Partnering closely with operations and sales teams, you'll help deliver high-visibility campaigns on time and represent Lamar with integrity in local communities. Responsibilities Install, assemble, and maintain static and digital billboards and related structures for client campaigns Read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and mounting specifications to ensure accurate builds Operate trucks, lifts, cranes, and power tools safely in accordance with company and OSHA standards Perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on billboard structures and lighting Work closely with sales, operations, and real estate teams to schedule and complete installations on time Ensure job sites are secure, clean, and compliant with safety and local code requirements Document completed work with photos, measurements, and reports using mobile or digital tools Troubleshoot structural, electrical, and mounting issues in the field and coordinate necessary fixes Follow company safety programs, attend required training, and use proper PPE at all times Represent Lamar professionally with property owners, local officials, and community stakeholders Required Skills Billboard or outdoor sign installation General construction and carpentry Rigging and working at heights Reading blueprints and site plans Use of power tools and hand tools Aerial lift, bucket truck, or crane operation Basic electrical and lighting troubleshooting Site safety and OSHA compliance Measurement and layout accuracy Digital documentation and photo reporting
