Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to perform diversified mechanical bench assembly operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for assembling large and smallponents to precise specifications while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to read blues and work instructions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform assembly, rework, and inspection of finished products for manufacturing Utilize hand tools, fixtures, pneumatic tools, manual presses, and power tools to assembleponents Work efficiently to meet production time standards and deadlines Follow verbal instructions, documented work instructions, bills of materials, assembly drawings, blues, and established guidelines Use precision measuring instruments, gauges, and testing equipment to verify proper assembly function and operation Maintain inventory and control of materials required for the department Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and safety Perform cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas Follow allpany procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations Maintain a clean,anized, and safe work environment Work under supervision andplete additional duties as assignedQualifications:
High school diploma or GED required 1-3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred, or an equivalentbination of education and experience Ability to read and interpret blues and assembly drawings required Basicputer skills required Strong hand dexterity and ability to work with small parts Ability to perform a variety of assembly operations accurately and efficiently Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environmentEquipment and Tools Used:
This position may require the use of various hand tools and calibrated measuring equipment, including but not limited to: Calipers Plug gauges Drop indicators Force gauges Torque measuring screwdrivers Oscilloscopes Dial gauges Torque wrenches Micrometers Specialized PMT manufacturing measuring equipmentPhysical Requirements:
Ability to lift: 20-50 lbs occasionally 10-25 lbs frequently Up to 10 lbs constantly Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day Good manual dexterity and visual acuity required Ability to work with repetitive hand movements and precision tools May be exposed to industrial cleaning chemicals and oils in a manufacturing environmentAdditional Information:
