Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to success! Responsibilities Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and optimal service delivery Supervise staff training, development, and performance management to promote a motivated and efficient team Manage food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control measures Oversee inventory control, including stock ordering, storage, and waste reduction strategies Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling procedures Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in compliance with health regulations Support kitchen management by coordinating food production, supervising food handling practices, and ensuring timely service Assist with interviewing and onboarding new team members to build a strong workforce aligned with restaurant goals Monitor shift management activities to optimize staffing levels and improve customer satisfaction Contribute to budgeting efforts by tracking sales, controlling costs, and minimizing waste Skills Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising teams in hospitality or food service settings Ability to train staff effectively on food safety standards, customer service excellence, and operational procedures Skilled in inventory control, food management, and cost reduction strategies Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences Experience managing shifts, budgets, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Knowledge of catering, banquet services, or hotel-related food operations is a plus Strong communication skills combined with the ability to motivate and develop team members Join us if you're ready to lead with energy, inspire your team, and deliver outstanding dining experiences!
