Our client is currently seeking a Audio Visual Specialist About the Job As an Audio Visual Specialist, you will play a critical role in enabling seamless virtual collaboration across the organization. You'll be responsible for managing and supporting video conferencing platforms, ensuring high-quality virtual meetings, webinars, and hybrid events. This role combines technical expertise with a customer-focused mindset to deliver reliable AV experiences. Responsibilities Manage and support video conferencing platforms including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Webex. Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot AV systems for virtual meetings and hybrid events. Ensure optimal audio, video, and content sharing quality during live sessions. Provide real-time technical support to users during events, resolving issues promptly. Maintain and upgrade AV hardware and software (e.g., cameras, microphones, codecs, Poly Clariti Manager). Train employees on best practices for using conferencing tools and AV equipment. Collaborate with IT and Facilities teams to enhance AV infrastructure and user experience. Document system configurations, procedures, and recurring issues for knowledge sharing. Research and recommend new technologies or upgrades to improve AV capabilities. Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of experience in video conferencing, IT support, or AV/IT integration. Proficiency with platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Webex. Hands-on experience with AV hardware (e.g., microphones, cameras, control panels). Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications AV/IT certifications (e.g., CTS, Zoom Certified, Microsoft Teams Admin). Experience with streaming platforms (e.g., Teams Live Events). Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, bandwidth).
