Job Title:
Job Captain, Architectural Designer Job Description We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Job Captain, Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team. This role involves developing and designing architectural concepts, preparing REVIT drawings, and collaborating with clients and other team members to produce innovative solutions. Responsibilities Develop and creatively design concepts for clients and projects. Prepare and produce REVIT drawings to create and document architectural designs. Interface with clients on design issues and develop architectural solutions. Develop, modify, and review production drawings and construction documents, and update them as required. Provide solutions for basic to moderate architecture design problems. Assist with master planning, site planning, and building planning and design using 2-D and 3-D modeling. Provide creative design direction during the conceptual and schematic phases of projects. Perform design computations and specifications, and compile data for basic to complex architectural assignments. Review building codes and conduct zoning analyses to ensure compliance with legal standards. Assist in the construction administration phase by reviewing shop drawings and maintaining a master log of project submittals. Prepare finished material sample boards and graphic presentations for client discussions. Coordinate with outside disciplines such as Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical consultants. Ensure timely and effective management and delivery of drawings to meet project goals. Assist Project Managers and Architects with oversight on basic to moderate type projects. Mentor associates and other staff members on architectural design concepts. Stay current with graphic standards and building construction methods. Research construction materials and systems. Essential Skills 4-10 years of experience in architectural design with a focus on healthcare, workplace, and industrial projects. Proficiency in Revit and construction document preparation. Above-average architectural design and organizational skills. Ability to plan and design creative and effective solutions in a fast-paced environment. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong design aptitude and attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Clear and effective communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Architecture, or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least two years of experience managing multiple project activities within the architecture industry. Experience with site planning and zoning analysis. Construction administration experience. LEED accreditation preferred. General understanding and application of architecture principles, practices, and concepts. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
