Automotive Technician

Niagara Hyundai is growing its service department by adding an automotive technician to the team. We are looking to add team members with all levels of experience from new technicians to level A techs. Candidates must have experience and own tools. Must have a positive attitude and attention to detail. Must be able to work with tools as well as follow all safety precautions. Our goal is to treat each person who walks into the dealership with respect and dignity, and that includes our employees. • Completing tasks on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership protocols
• Diagnosing vehicles and providing detailed inspections to service advisors
• Taking photos and videos of specific issues for customers.
• Test-driving vehicle after completion of work to verify repair quality.
• Completing warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
• Using newest technology to efficiently complete tasks and maintain records Skills Proven experience as an automotive technician.

Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components. Aptitude in using various tools. Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instructions, blueprints, etc.. A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines. Strong communication skills. Good physical strength and stamina. Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a plus. Valid certifications & inspectors license are a plus.
