Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cash register operations and basic math calculations for transactions Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and dining spaces Assist with food handling, serving food items, and ensuring proper food safety protocols are followed Support sales efforts by upselling menu items and promoting new products or specials to enhance customer experience Skills Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently without compromising quality or service speed Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate register operations Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling practices, and food preparation procedures Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced café or retail environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in the food industry.
