Barista/Cashier

Overview We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Our Baristas also assist in the kitchen with prepping, baking, packaging and more. Everyone helps in all areas...but we keep it fun! Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes
• Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment
• Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and handling payments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
• Restock supplies as needed
• Maintain working knowledge of all products for sales, recipes, SOPs and FAQ.
• Upsell products and promote specials to customers Skills
• Cash handling experience
• Strong customer service skills and energetic, positive attitude
• Knowledge of food handling procedures
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Basic understanding of retail math principles
• Excellent time management abilities
• Sales skills to drive revenue through suggestive selling
• Experience with Aloha POS system is a plus
• Proficiency in basic math for measuring ingredients accurately
• Ability to assist with food preparation when necessary
