Full-time Hours:
Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5pm, 4 days per week, 32 hours a week, eligible for full time benefits Provide individual psychotherapy to adult clients , utilizing evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT-informed approaches, trauma-informed care) Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, including primary care providers and other specialists Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and patient-centered care
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of Michigan (required) 3-5 years of post-licensure clinical experience , preferably with adult populations Demonstrated experience applying evidence-based therapeutic interventions Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently in a rural setting Comfort working with a broad range of clinical presentations, including mood, anxiety, trauma-related, and substance use and adjustment disorders Are you interested in a career where you are part of improving the health and quality of life of individuals? Kalkaska Medical Associates is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Therapist who desires to practice in a community setting from a multidisciplinary team model. This position requires a clinician with an integrative knowledge of a wide array of clinical disorders, inclusive of but not limited to general mental health conditions, substance use disorders, attentional disorders, and various forms of trauma sequelae. Clinical competency in providing adult individual, conjoint and family services required with additional competency involving childhood and adolescent services preferred. This position requires skills in assessment, treatment planning, facilitation of psychoeducational and therapeutic groups, and crisis intervention. It is expected the candidate be well-versed in CBT and open to utilizing third wave cognitive behavioral therapies. Familiarity with psychotropic medications and illicit substances is recommended, but a willingness to learn and apply this knowledge within a rural, community based medical setting is a must. A desire to work within an integrated multidisciplinary physical and behavioral health team setting and willingness to creatively apply current research findings within this clinical setting is essential. Use of an EMR and dictation technology requires the candidate maintains strong verbal communication and written language skills.
