Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of landscape irrigation systems and the ability to use various tools and equipment.

Duties:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems
• Perform regular maintenance on irrigation systems, including adjusting sprinkler heads, checking for leaks, and replacing damaged components
• Collaborate with landscaping team to ensure proper irrigation coverage for plants, trees, and lawns
• Program and adjust irrigation controllers to optimize water usage and ensure proper scheduling
• Conduct system audits to identify inefficiencies or malfunctions
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job

Experience:

• Previous experience in landscape irrigation or related field is preferred
• Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in irrigation system installation and repair
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices, including lawn care and garden upkeep
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics related to irrigation systems
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair mechanical components of irrigation systems

Requirements:

Minimum of 40 hours per week Valid driver's license & clean MVR Reliable transportation Good written and verbal communication Ability to complete required paperwork Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently & repetitively Ability to work in extreme heat
