Job Description

Overview:
Lead the delivery of high-impact public infrastructure projects across the Houston region. As a Civil Construction Manager, you'll oversee construction from start to finish, partnering with public agencies, contractors, consultants, utilities, and communities to deliver safe, high-quality projects on time and within budget. This position is available in an of our Houston offices!
Responsibilities:
Manage construction of public infrastructure projects, including water/wastewater, drainage, utilities, roadway, and flood control improvements. Lead contractor coordination, construction inspection, QA/QC, and overall project delivery. Administer contracts and review pay applications, change orders, schedules, and claims. Partner with Fort Bend County, Harris County, City of Houston, MUDs, and other public agencies. Monitor budgets, schedules, project risks, and funding requirements. Coordinate utilities, permitting, right-of-way, environmental requirements, and regulatory approvals. Lead progress meetings and serve as a key point of contact for clients, contractors, agencies, and the public. Identify challenges early and develop solutions that keep projects moving. Drive successful project closeout, final inspections, documentation, and agency acceptance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field. 5+ years of experience managing civil construction or public infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of civil construction, utilities, drainage, roadway, and flood control projects. Experience working with local, county, or state agencies and public-sector contracts. Knowledge of contract administration, public procurement, budgets, schedules, and QA/QC. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, agencies, and stakeholders. Nice to Have Texas PE, CCM, or PMP certification. Experience with state- or federally funded projects. Familiarity with USACE, TCEQ, OSHA, and other applicable regulatory requirements. Why This Role?
