AMSOIL INC.
is hiring a Buyer in our Purchasing department. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic purchasing department. In this role you will purchase a diverse range of products carefully chosen to meet company specifications and customer demands while optimizing inventory levels and controlling costs. This position reports on-site to the AMSOIL Center located in Superior, Wisconsin.

This position helps maintain a reliable supply chain, builds strong supplier relationships, and drives cost savings, all of which contribute to AMSOIL's ability to deliver high-quality products and exceptional service to its customers. .
Scheduled hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm What you will own: Responsible for procuring components and products that meet all requirements at the lowest cost Interact with and manage established suppliers and seek new suppliers as needed Follow-up to ensure suppliers meet our delivery requirements Negotiate prices and control costs through understanding of MOQ's, freight, and market conditions Use ERP software to determine purchase quantities and timing Participate on project teams with product development on new product launches What you bring: Bachelor's degree in related field Minimum of 1 year of purchasing experience in high volume environment Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical Strong negotiating skills Ability to work without close supervision Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities Willingness and ability to travel as needed (up to 15%) Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States (or Canada if applicable) without current or future employer sponsorship.
