Position Summary Do Not Support H-1B Visa! The Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating outbound shipment activities, transportation scheduling, carrier management, SAP shipping transactions, shipment documentation, shipment tracking, and customer communication. This role works closely with Planning, Warehouse, Production, carriers, and customers to ensure accurate, compliant, and on-time shipment execution while maintaining shipment visibility and logistics records. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate with Planners to obtain Delivery Notes (DNs), manage shipping schedules, and ensure on-time shipment execution. Coordinate carrier bookings and transportation activities while communicating shipment status with customers and carriers. Process SAP shipping transactions, including VL02, VF01, PGI, and shipment record maintenance. Generate packing lists, invoices, shipping documentation, and maintain shipping logs. Manage shipment visibility through GPS tracking and CargoSignal monitoring while providing status updates and escalating transportation issues. Assign trailer seal numbers to DNs, maintain shipment records, and collect Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation. Support logistics process improvements, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 3+ years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience. Experience with SAP shipping transactions. Strong understanding of transportation, shipment documentation, and logistics operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

Experience in manufacturing or high-volume distribution environments. Experience working with carriers, freight forwarders, and customer logistics teams. Knowledge of import/export operations and trade compliance. APICS, CLTD, or related logistics certification. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
