The department You will be part of Welltec's Operations function , supporting logistics activities and working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies, shipping agents, and customers. The position As Logistics Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and continuously improving logistics operations to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective movement of equipment and shipments. You will execute key logistics activities, including shipment planning, packing, bookings, cargo tracking, inventory coordination, transportation costs, and relationships with shipping agents and logistics providers. You will also play an important role in identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements that strengthen operational and financial performance. The position requires a collaborative and solutions-oriented team member who can effectively manage changing priorities, analyze logistical challenges, and achieve operational excellence with continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Your key responsibilities will include: Picking, wrapping, and Packing equipment for shipping. Responsible for creating shipping invoices in accordance with provided shipping instructions, informing dispatchers on how to pack shipments, booking freight forwarders (based on Incoterms), and ensuring that the client ( Welltec or non-Welltec) receives a pre-alert with shipment information and all respective documents Goods reception; check actual shipment against shipping documents. Update necessary databases/systems with goods received/shipped Storing all relevant documents required in the archive. Can operate forklift
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Participate in the Asset and stock counts.
- Coordinating import/export of materials & equipment with Shipping agent, broker, Welltec Bases and relevant authorities
- Keeping informed of customs regulations and requirements Gathering, filing, checking for correctness and updating all relevant documents needed for Export .
The documents may include but are not limited to the following: Proforma Invoice, Packing list, Declaration of conformity, MSDS, Technical description, Delivery contract, Certificates, Import documents. Storing all relevant documents needed for required archives Monitor the quality, quantity, delivery times, and transportation costs of shipments.
- Plan, manage, and evaluate logistics operations in collaboration with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies, and customers.
- Work closely with shipping agents to manage bookings, cargo tracking, and related logistics activities Analyze logistical problems and develop effective solutions Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost-optimization opportunities Lead and develop a Logistics Dispatcher to meet objectives and promote continuous improvement.
The candidate The ideal candidate has experience working in a logistics planning and coordinating role and is comfortable managing multiple aspects of the supply chain, including import/export activities, shipment coordination, customs requirements, and external logistics providers. We are looking for a candidate with the following profile:
- University Degree, AP Degree, Higher Secondary, or Vocational Degree Experience in logistics planning, execution and coordination Experience in collaborating with external agents to ensure equipment and shipments are delivered on time Experience in monitoring and analyzing shipments using relevant software Experience in planning and managing import and export activities Understanding of applicable laws and regulations Experience in directing, optimising, and coordinating the full shipment cycle Strong stakeholder collaboration skills Strong planning and coordination capabilities.
Demonstrated team leadership capabilities. Willingness to work outside working hours and weekends, when needed Authorized to work in the USA, without the need for current or future visa sponsorship Valid driver's license and clean record Good English language skills.
