This role supports logistics operations by managing shipment records, communicating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and track import and export shipments from origin to destination Prepare, review, and process shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin) Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and warehouse personnel Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies Maintain accurate records in logistics systems (ERP/TMS) Verify tariff classifications (HS codes) and assist with duty calculations Support audits and ensure proper filing of shipping and compliance documents Communicate shipment updates to customers Experience working Southbound Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred) 1-3 years of experience in import/export, logistics, or transportation operations Basic knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping processes Familiarity with Incoterms and shipping documentation Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication and coordination abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Experience with ERP or Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Problem-solving and multitasking capabilities Work Environment Office or logistics setting Occasional extended hours depending on shipment schedules
Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
