Jewish Service for the Developmentally Disabled (JSDD) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Executive Director to join our senior leadership team. QUALIFICIATIONS
Graduate degree and a minimum of 5-7 years upper level management experience, excellent communication and organizational skills
COMPETENCIES
Understand and have the ability to work within the existing system of services and support in the state of New Jersey and within the MetroWest Jewish community to assist the individuals served to have access to all of the opportunities available to the general population; demonstrate the ability to assist the Board of Trustees to make informed decisions regarding their role and responsibilities to assure the agency's health, growth and sustainability and support strategic and future planning and committee work
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees the daily operations of JSDD programs
Supervises the Director of Residential Services, Director of Nursing Services, WAE Center Director, Administrative Assistant/Office Manager
Involvement in and knowledge of ongoing fiscal management, including participation in drafting annual budget, reviewing quarterly expenditure reports to the Budget/Finance Committee, making recommendations towards efficiencies
Knowledgeable regarding agency policies and procedures, DDD licensing and certification, Medicaid, Electronic Health Records documentation and billing
Participate in monitor regulatory compliance, staff development, person-centered programming, clinical services and overall quality assurance measures in each residence and for the WAE Center
Support the fulfillment of the mission, vision and goals of the agency and Board of Trustees
Facilitates all Board of Trustees activities as assigned, including attendance at regular Board meetings and assume a professional leadership role as assigned to Committees, fund raising, operational updates, goal prioritization, public relations, strategic planning, etc.
Participate in program expansion and development opportunities as assigned
Participate in selecting, interviewing and assessing potential candidates for admission into residences
Develop knowledge regarding capital funding for new homes through a variety of source including, but not limited to federal, state, county and local government, lenders for qualified affordable housing providers, private donations
Be aware of program development opportunities under consideration by the Board of Trustees
Assist in supporting fundraising activities as directed by the Board of Trustees
Represent JSDD at governmental, community and professional organizations
Serve as a resource to the community
Facilitates and increases agency visibility
Coordinate and cooperate in all JSDD inspections or investigations as assigned and cooperates with any and all Division of Developmental Disabilities inspections or investigations
Pay:
$95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
