Student Life Advisor Concord Preparatory School Costa Mesa, CA Job Details Full-time $4,000 - $5,000 a month 1 hour ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications School experience CPR Certification Education First Aid Certification Working with students Full Job Description Position Overview We are seeking an organized, approachable, and student-centered Student Life Advisor to support the residential and extracurricular experience of our high school students. This position oversees dormitory life, coordinates after-school programs, and serves as a primary point of contact for students seeking assistance or guidance. Key Responsibilities Support the daily operation of the student dormitory and help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive residential environment. Respond to student questions and concerns and coordinate timely follow-up with school administrators, teachers, dormitory staff, or parents as needed. Communicate dormitory expectations, schedules, school policies, and important updates to students. Plan, coordinate, and supervise after-school activities, student clubs, social events, and community-building programs. Monitor student well-being and promptly escalate health, safety, behavioral, or emergency concerns. Perform other student services and operational duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, student affairs, psychology, social work, or a related field preferred. Two to three years of relevant experience in student services, residential life, education, youth programs, or advising. Experience working with high school students, international students, or culturally diverse populations preferred. Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage sensitive matters with patience, discretion, sound judgment, and appropriate professional boundaries. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred.
Pay:
$4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
