Full Job Description Instruction & Curriculum Management Abeka Implementation:
Deliver daily history (e.g., World History, U.S. History, Government, Economics) and Bible lessons following the structured Abeka scope, sequence, and lesson plans .
Traditional Methodology:
Utilize Abeka's traditional teaching methods, incorporating oral review, lecture, and systematic testing.
Biblical Worldview Integration:
Teach history through the lens of God's providential hand, helping students see the connection between scripture and human events.
Grading & Assessment:
Administer and grade Abeka quizzes, speed drills, tests, and homework promptly, keeping accurate records on the school's digital portal.
Spiritual Leadership & Mentorship Discipleship:
Model a vibrant, growing relationship with Jesus Christ both inside and outside the classroom.
Scripture Memorization:
Lead students in mandatory weekly Bible verse memorization and scriptural analysis.
Chapel Support:
Attend and actively participate in school chapel services, occasionally leading or assisting with worship or messages.
Classroom Leadership & Community Classroom Management:
Maintain a highly structured, disciplined, and respectful learning environment in line with school policy.
Parent Collaboration:
Partner with parents through consistent communication regarding student academic progress and behavioral development.
Faculty Participation:
Attend all staff meetings, professional development days, and mandatory school events (e.g., orientation, parent-teacher conferences).
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
