Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques to promote a respectful and cooperative environment. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong home-school connections. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR protocols. Support children's development through activities that enhance childhood development skills such as motor coordination, language acquisition, and social interaction. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum content that encourages curiosity, creativity, and learning across all developmental domains. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of child development principles, early intervention strategies, and special education practices. Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to guide behavior positively. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork. Certification in first aid and CPR is required or obtainable upon hire. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential. Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is advantageous.
