Job Description
About us Child Care Network is a non profit business in Seymour, IN. We have been providing child related services for over 30 years. We house our county's child advocacy program, a before and after school progam in multiple elementary schools, On My Way Preschool, and a Child Care Center for ages 6weeks-4 year old.
Job Title:
Co-teacher/ Teacher Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with co-teachers to plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Support students' social and emotional development through positive interactions and guidance
- Provide individualized attention and support to students as needed
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Help monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student's progress and any concerns
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions as required
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
