Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of child development principles, early intervention strategies, and special education practices. Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to guide behavior positively. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork. Certification in first aid and CPR is required or obtainable upon hire. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential. Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is advantageous.
