This is not an assistant position and it's not a role where you spend your day cleaning up after someone else's classroom. You'll be a co-teacher and an equal part of your classroom team. Each classroom has a Team Leader who helps guide the room, but our teachers work together. You'll have the opportunity to plan curriculum, create activities, set up engaging learning experiences, build relationships with your students and families, and bring your own ideas into the classroom. You'll Have Support, Too Teaching young children can be challenging, and we don't expect our teachers to figure everything out on their own. Our leadership team is actively involved and available to support you with challenging behaviors, classroom management, parent conversations and meetings, curriculum, child development, and anything else that comes up during your day. You'll also be joining a fun, supportive staff where teamwork matters. When a classroom needs help, we work together. What You'll Get to Do Work full-time as an active co-teacher in a Toddler classroom. Partner with your classroom Team Leader and fellow teachers to create a great classroom environment. Plan and implement curriculum, projects, sensory experiences, art, dramatic play, outdoor activities, and more. Bring your own creativity, interests, and teaching style to the classroom. Build meaningful relationships with your students and their families. Observe children's development and use what you see to plan activities that meet their needs. Participate in parent communication and classroom events. Work with leadership when children need additional behavioral or developmental support.
