Special Education Teachers:
Resource position (grades K-3, approximately 30 students) Self-contained classroom (approximately 15 students)
Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (state eligibility required) Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred Strong communication skills and dedication to fostering inclusive learning environments Ability to adapt instruction to diverse student needs Commitment to collaboration with IEP teams and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver individualized instruction based on student IEPs Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation Foster a supportive, structured classroom environment Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and specialists Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to instructional planning
