As a contract Special Education Teacher, you will work with young students (PreK3-K), providing learning support that sets the stage for future success. This position is ideal for educators focused on early years and brings exciting opportunities for those with an interest or background in the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. Mandarin Chinese fluency is a valued asset, but not a requirement.

Qualifications:

Certification in Special Education or eligibility to obtain credentials. Experience working with early childhood or primary-aged students. Strong understanding of learning support strategies for young children.

Preferred:

Background in IB Primary Years Programme.

Preferred:

Fluency in Mandarin Chinese. Ability to collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families. Adaptability, strong communication skills, and a passion for inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and group instruction for PreK3-K students with a range of learning needs. Develop and implement IEPs, supporting student growth and achievement. Collaborate in planning and adapting curriculum to meet diverse learner profiles. Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues to ensure continuity of support. Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages confidence and independence in all students.
