Qualifications:

Current Massachusetts Teacher of the Deaf certification required Experience in instructing students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual student needs Commitment to fostering an accessible and positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver specialized instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Consult and collaborate with other educators and staff to support student learning Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed Communicate regularly with families regarding student development and supports The contract starts as soon as possible and extends through March 2026, with the possibility of discussion regarding an extension through June.
