Qualifications:

Valid DESE Special Education Teaching Certification, Grades 5-12 Experience working in high school settings preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills Adaptability and commitment to inclusive education practices

Responsibilities:

Deliver effective instruction to high school students with diverse learning needs in an inclusion classroom Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual students Work closely with general education teachers and support staff to provide differentiated instruction Maintain accurate records of student progress and ongoing communication with families Foster a supportive and encouraging classroom culture that promotes engagement and growth This role begins September 1, 2026, and continues through June 17, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The number of students on your caseload will be determined prior to your start date, ensuring each educator receives appropriate support.
